Who should I speak to about Inclusion and SEND?
Your first contact for discussing needs or concerns about pupils should be the class teacher, who oversees inclusive, adaptive teaching for all pupils within the classroom and can give you more information about your child's progress and attainment.

The Local Offer
The Local Offer has been developed as part of the new Children and Families Act. It aims to provide information on education, health and social care provision available for disabled children and young people and those with special educational needs, in a way that can be accessed quickly and easily.
How do we define SEND?
Pupils have special educational needs if they have a difficulty accessing the curriculum, temporarily or more long-term, which calls for special educational provision to be made for them.
Pupils have difficulty accessing the curriculum if they:

What information do schools provide?
Schools have a duty to provide information about special educational needs that is accessible to pupils, parents and carers. This is called the SEND Information Report. We need to make sure this information is kept up to date.
