Work Here - April 2022 - THREE TEACHING POSTS FOR SEPTEMBER 1st 2022

Three Teaching Posts: EYFS, KS1 and KS2 Respectively

St. Joseph’s is seeking to employ three excellent teachers, one in each phase, to join its staff at our Ofsted ‘Good’ (June 2019) school which is situated in Dalton, Huddersfield. You will be joining the school at an exciting time, as we became an Academy on 1st October 2021,  as we move forward together in partnership with other Catholic schools as part of the Blessed Peter Snow Catholic Academy Trust. The successful candidates will be committed to have the highest possible expectations of their pupils as well as to their welfare. Applicants should state their curricular interests in their statement which must be on the Catholic Education Service form.

We can offer children who are well-behaved and hard-working and a staff that is supportive. As a school we are committed to the professional development of all employees and welcome applications from both experienced staff and those newly qualified as Early Careers Teachers. St. Josephs’ is committed to looking after the wellbeing of their staff and have a number of systems in place to do so.

Our school has a large field and wooded area, where we are developing our Forest School provision. We have a wide-range of extra-curricular activities and participate regularly in sporting competitions with other schools.

Candidates are warmly invited to visit the school and this can be done by emailing the headteacher, Dominic Williams, at djpwilliams@stjosephscps.co.uk.

Closing date for applications: Friday 13th May at 9am.

Interviews will be held on Monday 25th May from 10am onwards.

The posts will commence 1st September 2022

The Academy Trust and Local Governing Body are committed to the Safeguarding of our pupils, and all offers of post are dependent on Full DBS check and satisfactory references.
